Email Ben01How much does a website cost?
A focused one-page website starts at £550. Larger sites, ecommerce, specialist integrations, involved copywriting and ongoing support are quoted separately. You receive a clear scope and fixed fee before deciding whether to proceed.
02How long does a website take?
A focused one-page website usually takes 1 to 2 weeks once the scope, content and start date are agreed. Larger projects take longer. The proposal includes a realistic launch target and the decisions needed to keep it moving.
03Do I need to write all the content first?
No. A plain explanation of the business, audience and offer is enough to begin. Content planning and shaping are included in the starter scope. Full copywriting or a larger content exercise can be added when needed.
04What do I need to provide?
Usually your logo if you have one, useful photos, essential business details, examples of work and any text or existing material worth keeping. I will tell you exactly what is needed after the first conversation.
05Will the website work on phones?
Yes. Every build is designed and tested across common phone, tablet and desktop sizes. Mobile is treated as a core part of the design, not a smaller copy of the desktop page.
06Are hosting and domain costs included?
Any ongoing hosting, domain, licence or third-party costs are identified before work begins. I can help set them up, but accounts intended for your business stay in your name wherever practical.
07How do feedback and revisions work?
The agreed scope includes focused review points. I explain what needs a decision and group feedback into useful rounds. Changes outside the agreed scope are discussed and priced before extra work starts.
08Who owns the finished website?
Once the final payment is made, you receive the agreed website files, account access and handover notes. Any third-party licences or services remain subject to their own terms.
09Can you improve an existing website?
Yes. I will first assess whether the existing site is worth refreshing or whether rebuilding is the more sensible route. If the current setup is already doing its job, I will say so.
10Do you offer support after launch?
Launch support and handover are included in the agreed project. Ongoing updates, maintenance or new features can be scoped separately, so you are not tied into a vague monthly package.
